If there were one word Marcus Lohrmann would use to describe Crossings, it would be Jesus. The story of Jesus is a source of hope for the world. It is the story of the crucified and risen Christ who moves us from despair to hope by offering life in place of death. Marcus speaks about a time when he realized God was at work putting the “old Marcus” to death so that new life could grow in him.
Marcus feels the Crossings method is built on the ministry of listening to one another in speaking the truth. He hears in the Crossings Community the retelling of the story of a God who is unwilling to let us go. Marcus wants to help people discover the story of how Christ Jesus is speaking a word of hope in their daily lives.
