Crossings Film Series: Amber Kalina

Seminarian Amber Kalina heard about Crossings through the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) and it seemed like a great way to end her J term. Amber was intrigued by the topic of the conference, “The Silence of God.”

Amber found the Crossings method true to Martin Luther’s main ideas- that the Law illuminates our shortcomings, while the promise of the Gospel brings life.

As a seminarian, Amber was eligible to attend the conference at no cost, something she says made her attendance possible. She shares her gratitude for the experience and recommends the conference to others.
