Born in Pniel, Northern Cape, South Africa to missionary parents, Felix Meylahn's upbringing instilled a deep calling to proclaim God's grace. Following theological studies in Pietermaritzburg, Berlin, and Tübingen, he embarked on over 30 years of pastoral ministry within various congregations of the Cape Church. His journey included serving in locations like Philippi, Bellville, Port Elizabeth, and Stellenbosch. Since June 2023, he has held the full-time position of Director of Studies for the Theology Students of the Lutheran Churches in Southern Africa, based at the Stellenbosch Faculty of Theology. Currently residing in Stellenbosch, he believes that becoming a theologian is a lifelong process nurtured by prayer, meditation, and spiritual trial. His current work focuses on guiding and mentoring students as they embark on their own theological journeys.

About Us
In the early 1970s two seminary professors listened to the plea of some lay Christians. “Can you help us live out our faith in the world of daily work?” they asked. “Can you help us connect Sunday worship with our lives the other six days of the week?” That is how Crossings was born.
The Crossings Community, Inc. welcomes all people looking for a practice they can carry beyond the walls of their church service and into their daily lives. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, or gender in any policies or programs.
